Students want to learn and grow. Use of the internet opens up so many windows not usually available to my students. A virtual field trip or a close up of a cell is way cooler and much better than a stuffy lecture. If we are ever going to bridge the gap in our science education then we need to bridge the digital gap first and foremost. Remember when you were young and you got the chance to learn? These Chromebooks will be used daily to augment and sustain learning. They yield a perpetuating opportunity for my students to develop intrinsic skills and become lifelong learners.
