I teach NYS Regents Earth Science and Environmental Science, both in an Inclusive setting (I have a special education teacher with me all day) at the high school level in NY. My students are typically at many different levels of learning and require differentiated instruction to keep them engaged and successful in this challenging course. In order to allow them to work at their own pace while meeting all of the goals of the course, I would like to implement mastery learning techniques, combined with differentiated learning opportunities and a 'flipped' classroom approach. In order to accomplish this, I need help acquiring some additional technology. Ideally we would have 10-12 laptops/tablets available for student use but I can make it work with 3 Chromebook computers to start. Please consider helping me take my classes to the next level as we work towards college and career-readiness skills and increasing student interest and engagement in the sciences! -
