My students are passionate about learning and excited to be at school every day. I have many English Learners in my class who need lots of additional language support. I always try to incorporate as much scaffolding with realia and hands on materials as I can so that the lessons are more accessible for my EL students. I work at a very tight knit school with a lot of caring teachers and we work very hard to meet the needs of our students. We are a Title I school and our student population is very diverse. Our students face many unique challenges, but we still manage to set high expectations for our students. We all share a common passion for teaching and believe every student can be successful with the right tools and supports.
