This year I have nearly 300 students in my music program at Patrick Henry Middle School. These students come from diverse backgrounds but music gives them the perfect outlet to come together and share their love for this subject. Music allows students to express what they are thinking, feeling and hearing while making cultural and relational connections. I do my best to make my classroom environment inviting, friendly and memorable so that each student may have an appreciation for music in our world.

About my class
