The majority of students I work with are fourth graders. They deal with various struggles of recall, readability and comprehension when presented with advanced reading materials. They also struggle with the understanding and computation of rigorous math concepts. My job is to guide them so that they can independently succeed in all subject areas through various techniques such as text marking, context clue discovery and note taking through interactive notebooks. My students also need a bit of drill and practice in their basic skills in order to be able to attack more rigorous skills. The iPad minis are a way to allow them to discover and learn ways to retain information! Please help my students build the confidence to meet the common core based standards and state mandated tests in English Language Arts Writing, English Language Arts Reading and Math. There is no I in TEAM at CGE- we succeed together!
