This project will provide my students with the opportunity to experience reading a book using the literature circle method . This method provides students the opportunity to read a book and the prepare a role (like vocabulary finder, passage finder etc. ) Students absolutely love getting together in their literature circle meetings and sharing their roles. It helps students be responsible and accountable. It helps with their self efficacy as they see how they can develop their role. The meetings with their classmates really help with their communication skills and their getting along with others.
