I teach in a traditional school which consists of approximately 330 students. Parents have to apply to get their children into this school and there is usually a waiting list to get into Tarkington. Tarkington is noted for parental involvement, and they choose this school because of its traditional values. Students wear uniforms and are expected to be respectful of, and be kind to all.
