We appreciate all what our moms do for us. To show our love for our moms and grandmothers, 90 first grade students at our elementary school participate in a Mother's Day program. There is reciting of poems, dancing, displaying of art, and of course SINGING! The 90 students practice for 2 hours a week for 2 months to be able to present their appreciation for their moms. They memorize their parts in the program and show that they can present in front of an audience. This has been a tradition in our elementary for approximately 20 years!!
