My students are from all over the world. They walk into my mixed grade High School ESL class with a huge range of education, life experience, and personal struggles. What they all have in common is that they need to quickly work their way up to a grade level proficiency of English, a process that generally takes 5-7 years. What they also have in common is the fact that they must accelerate their learning in order to graduate in a few short years. They love studying topics that are relevant to their lives and the world around us.

About my class
