I work at title one schools, low income, where the majority of the population is Hispanic, pacific islanders, and refugees. Three-fourths of the students are on free or reduced lunch due to low income. The teachers are very dedicated to the students and the school. They work really hard to give the students the same educational opportunities as the other schools in the district that are not title one. Due to budget cuts, etc. teachers are limited on using math manipulative's in their classrooms. I want to start a math manipulative library where teachers can check out items to use with their lessons and then return them for the next class to use.
