Most of my second graders attend their neighborhood public school. Our class is mostly self-contained. We do have a few children with learning disabilities and autism who are mainstreamed and an important part of our classroom family. I have some children who are at grade level, as well as many who struggle daily. My students are eager learners and so willing to help each other. I am always looking for ways to help them and make school the best I can for them. They deserve the best education I can provide them. I would like to give this to them because they give so much to me on a daily basis with their smiles, energy, and enthusiasm.
