These students are caring individuals who are committed to completing their education despite the fact that they had a baby while in high school. They understand the value of education even more-- because of their child--because they realize they need an education to be able to support their family. This Parenting Program is part of urban school in Hawaii that has approximately 2000 students. The Parenting Program provides classes to help Pregnant and Parenting Students complete their education, become better parents, and have a plan for life after high school. These students generally come from disadvantaged families and have over come many obstacles to be able even just attend school. Their commitment to their own education is astounding in light of the obstacles they face.

About my class
