My students are multicultural and many come from military families. We do have an English language learning population, and our socioeconomic status ranges from poverty to wealthy with most of our students coming from middle class families. We have 1,200 students in grades 6-8. Our school is in a suburban area and have many families that are very involved in their child's education. We are a RVA active school and most recently became a Let's Move!, Active School.
