I teach 5th grade (all subjects) in a Title 1 school. My students are eager to learn but sometimes require motivation through non conventional teaching methods. Interaction qnd Engagement are key for their success. The demographics include 5 SPED students, 11 English language learners, and 6 gifted students. The needs are diverse and range from scaffolded to independent. My classroom serves as a haven so that students are able to focus on the joys of learning and temporarily release issues that affect their physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing.
