Engage, engage, engaged! What an amazing year it's going to be this year. I'm changing to a 4th grade class. I'm reteaching 26 of my former students. This year we will be discussing setting and reaching higher goals; our small groups will be named after universities. They will choose which university they will be...with much debate. My families come from varying backgrounds including differing socioeconomic statuses. My students need to be prepared for the 21st century that utilizes technology, collaboration, creativity, and ingenuity. I would like to incorporate STEAM into my 4th grade classroom to ensure that I give ALL my students All possible opportunities to be excited about learning and be successful! The amazing students coming to me this year are all very inquisitive, eager to learn, and truly work hard every day. I differentiate instruction to meet and maximize the learning of all 30 students.
