My students are amazing! They come to class with this energy that is incredible. I happen to teach in the gifted program so I constantly challenge them with lessons beyond the curriculum, and they meet those challenges every time. Their grade level ranges between second, third, and fourth but one thing that remains the same between all of them is the desire to learn and do well in school. Sometimes our textbooks do not have enough information in them so the students stay hungry to learn more about a given topic. I try to enrich the learning experience by introducing them to things they normally would not be exposed to, for example taking them to a recording studio after a chapter on sound so they can see how a song is made and record their own song. Aside from their attitude for school they also are extremely respectful and caring, they ask you about your day and how your family is doing. My students truly are a special group of kids.
