There are 34 academically diverse students in my 4th grade class. There are 7 students identified gifted and talented (GATE), and 13 students performing 2 or more years below grade level. 90% of my class is receiving free or reduced lunch, and 80% of my class are English learners and speak a different primary language at home. Additionally, I have 3 students receiving special education services, and one of them is wheel chair bound. Technology helps support my instruction. An iPad is a tool that all my students will connect with and be drawn to.
