I have an exceptional group of 4th grade students who are 100% minority and Title 1 (economically disadvantaged). My students are motivated learners who thoroughly enjoy attending school. Many of the students come from single-parent families. Their school is just south of Los Angeles. This area is one that has a high crime rate and is fed by several low-income housing apartments.
