My students are eager, responsible and sweet. They are thankful to attend a rigorous, clean and safe charter school. They are in dire need of a library and a place where they can unwind and escape. Currently, my students have a very negative relationship with reading because they have never had the opportunity to choose their own books. Many of my students have never even been to a public library since they ride public transportation to and from school.
