Last year, while teaching virtually, I noticed my students enjoyed interactive games. These games were vocabulary and phonics based. They were able to compete with each other, as well. They would beg me to 'play.' I LOVED that they were learning or applying their knowledge while playing. As a teacher, you want your students to learn, BUT more importantly, you want them motivated. I would love to create a Lab/Center where students can still engage in interactive games to facilitate their learning. This lab will be used as an enhancement for my students vocabulary. I would be able to assign students to go to the LAB to 'play.' These computers will be a start to this lab.
