My students come with challenges financially. Our school has 50% or more on free or reduced lunch. We service some of the riches and poorest students in our southern community. But, they still want to learn and strive to meet goals they have set for themselves. My students struggle and some have special challenges to over come academically. They work well in groups and like to assist one another when facing an Algebra hurdle. My school is made up of 7th, 8th and 9th graders and is over 55 years old. We have about 1100 students in facilities that are challenging especially when trying to add technology.
