In our second grade class, students are extremely motivated to read about the world they live in. I want to continue that high level of interest by offering engaging, non-fiction material that also helps us learn the content required in the New Generation Science Standards. It is so exciting to see kids gathered together, in our carpet area, sharing the fascinating things they read in our non-fiction books. Their thirst for knowledge is insatiable, so I want to keep providing wonderful reading material in order to keep them always wanting to learn more.

About my class
