This project involves students consistently reaching out to other students their age around the world. Students have been studying immigration at the turn of the century and are eager to learn more about kids their age who live in the countries that migrated to the United States. Making the social studies connection involves incorporating a technology station that will allow students to connect with other students around the world. Students will learn about everyday life, challenges, school experiences, and specific content they are learning in social studies. This experience would heavily impact their learning and provide an invaluable experience.
