Art is an amazing way for students to express themselves and relax. I use art in my classroom to teach and expose students to various artists, mediums, and times in history. Through art, students can find social and emotional balance. Balance is a huge key to success for everyone. The chalk, tempera paint, markers, and other art materials will continue to bring more exposure to different mediums and teach specific art skills to students, as well as enrich their self-expression. This is essential during a time when we all need a little more emotional support. We can do it through COLOR!
