I am a third grade teacher who works at an inner city school in a large urban school district. My school is unique in all aspects as the majority of our students are English Language Learners who receive with free breakfast and lunch. Many of our students are refugees who have come from war torn nations around the world. As you walk around campus you will see many of our students who wear their native dress and speak their native languages. Our school is extremely old and needs many major and minor repairs on campus.
