My students are the faces of American diversity. Highly motivated to do well in all subject areas, our Southern California Intermediate school (6-8th grade) offers a wide range of elective choices in which students choose one for each trimester. The visual arts program encompasses trimester courses in drawing and painting, creative design, and ceramics 1 and 2. My students are naturally curious by nature, willing to explore new frontiers in art, do research, use technology, and practice the skills necessary to realize specific creative project goals.
