My students are a wonderful group of third graders who come from all types of socioeconomic backgrounds. The school we are in is Title 1 with as many as 93% of students receiving help from the school and community (ie: free lunch, food, clothing, etc.). We have decent class sizes and try our best to provide for all their basic needs. Many students in my class benefit greatly from our lunch, food, and clothing assistance.
