My class is made up of 20 four-year old prekindergarten students. We are part of a public elementary school with a very large English Language Learner population. One hundred percent of my students do not speak English at home. This is their first school experience and an opportunity for them to learn our language and to gain skills that are essential to be successful in kindergarten. My students are eager to learn and love the new experiences that are presented to them at school.
