My students belong to a very small, rural community. It is a very low income school, but the students and community are like family in this tight knit community. Providing musical opportunities that aren't available due to location and cost for these families would be to begin to inspire a whole new avenue of exploration and creativity that many students could continue to enjoy their whole life.
