I teach drama to 2nd - 6th graders in a NYC public school. This is the second year that drama will be taught in this shool and the students have fully embraced learning the language and skills associated with this class. In the first year, they have written and performed their own short plays. They have incorporated technology into their work while improving their reading, writing and public speaking skills. More importantly, not only have many of them have found an outlet for their creativity, they have also learned how to support each other and work cooperatively.

About my class
