I am a School Counselor in a Kindergarten through 6th Grade elementary school. I am trying to provide more social and emotional supports for them to be successful in all areas of their education. We believe that when students are feeling safe and confident within themselves, they are better equipped to handle this changing world. Adversity does not discriminate and these students face challenges every day in their personal and academic lives. These challenges range from family struggles and friendship issues to anxiety, grief, and the rigorous standards set for them. The list of challenges facing students on a daily basis could go on and on. But the good news is, kids are incredibly resilient. Given the right supports, they grow and thrive.

About my class
