The Room 7 Superheros consist of twenty-three first grade students, who are working to form a long-lasting love and passion for school. I teach in a high-poverty, low income school. One of the most important aspects of teaching in a Title-1 school is creating positive classroom relationships. My scholars love supporting one another in learning and in life. In our inclusive setting, we have students of various abilities, modalities, and strengths. Our school is unique and truly reflects the diversity of our community. Our classrooms and instructional choices need to match our students' dynamic needs, so that together we continue to learn and thrive. We are leading and learning for 12 months with the adoption of an extended calendar! Students will be continuously learning throughout the entire year.
