My school is a Title I Turnaround school continuing to make growth through resources, training and support. My students come from all over the world. Most of them are refugees and immigrants seeking safety from war and violence. They are eager to learn English and expand on their learning. I support students on their language development through listening, speaking, reading and writing. I facilitate reading interventions. I also enter their classrooms to co-teach science and build science vocabulary through the use of hands-on activities following the scientific method.
