These headphones will give my students better access, and the ability to utilize various forms of technology, as well as enhance home and school connection. My students have been using an app called Seesaw which allows me to upload their classwork for their families to access at home. Students are able to record themselves reading books, reciting poems, and explaining how they solve math problems. Because kindergarten classrooms are busy and loud, these headphones with built-in microphones will enable multiple students to utilize the recording tool simultaneously on the Seesaw app, as the microphone will be able to pick up their individual voice and eliminate the background noise that typically distracts the listener. Another benefit of these headphones is that they are able to connect to each other so that multiple students can access the Epic Books app and listen to stories on a single iPad.
