I teach advanced 3rd-5th grade students who are apart of the gifted and talent development programs. I teach at a Title I school in GA where 100% of the students receive free and reduced lunch. The average class size is 17. Only 25-30% have a computer at home, while only 10% of those have Internet access. Technology is a integral part of the District created unit lesson plans which require aps that I can't access, and digital student assignments that would be so much easier if we had even one iPad at our disposal in our classroom everyday all day.
