Allowing students to feel that their classroom is their home away from home is a goal I attempt to achieve everyday. I have taught for ten years in a high-poverty, high-need school. My students are predominantly Hispanic and English language learners. We are very proud of the fact that our students transition from bilingual classrooms to monolingual classrooms in a rather short amount of time.

About my class
