Depending upon what the student signs up for, they will either learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and/or Math through makerspaces, hands-on experimental learning with little or no guidance. There will be eight makerspaces stations. First, the snap circuits come with a color coded book of different ways students can put together a complete circuit. Second, students can create and print a symmetrical butterfly on their ipad using Sketchbook Express (T&A). Third, they can sign up to use chrome books to complete different tasks on a math geoboard website (T&M); Fourth, students can build a straw tower and/or shape (A & E). Fifth, students can create with legos; I would like to create a lego wall in the library eventually. (A & E). Sixth students can learn how to make clock work with potatoes (S).
