Thousands of children are placed within our educational system; however, a much smaller amount are truly receiving the education they need to better themselves and further their educational studies beyond high school. While subject to begin their educational journey on this detrimental path, my middle school students deserve far more. Filled with enthusiasm, heart, intelligence and dreams to become the nation's next top brain surgeon, my middle school students (6th, 7th and 8th graders) are required to attend the local middle-school, which lacks funds and resources.
