My choice of wobble chairs and wobble cushions will allow my students to be more comfortable throughout the day by providing them with the stimulation of movement. As adults, we know how hard it is to sit still for long periods of time. Imagine being in a first grade body! Children need to move! Physical activity increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow and core strength. It also helps children to stay more alert and focused. An active body leads to an active mind! The wobble cushions will also offer sensory stimulation to the children. This type of stimulation has been proven to help children focus and process information. As a bonus, they can be easily moved to different areas of the classroom.
