My students consist of minority African Americans and Hispanics. My students love to share things about their personal lives and are concerned about the things that take place in my person life. We have developed a classroom community that cultivates relationships and being leaders. These children practice how to speak to one another and how to be a team because our motto is " We are all Friends." My students are excited about learning. They come in every day and share a connection they've made from school at home. They love to ask questions about things that are unfamiliar to them. My school embraces diversity. It provides many resources within the school that benefits the education of the parents and the students. The school works hard to develop comfort for the parents within our school community through interpreters and the parent center.
