My students are incredible. School is difficult on it's own, now add language barriers, poverty, inconsistent housing and it becomes a struggle. My students are overcoming these challenges and it is my duty to ensure that I give them the highest quality education I can provide regardless of obstacles. I teach 27 scholars ages 9-10 years old. Out of the 27 students several struggle with English. I have 5 students on an IEP and on the other hand I have 7 that are highly achieving. All of them come to school ready give it 100%.
