My students have been very intrigued by my Fitbit fitness tracker! They constantly ask me how many steps we take throughout the day. What better way to incorporate Math and Science than through fitness tracking? My students will track their steps with their own Fitbit fitness trackers over time and compare their data throughout the year. We will also use the numbers in various ways through our math instruction to help connect with the content! And what student wouldn't be motivated by a little teacher vs. student competition? It's time for my students to get up and moving, and take control of their learning!
