I am a Middle School teacher and in my classroom, all students face numerous challenges, educationally as well as in life. Some of them are in temporary living arrangements, have been victims of abuse and neglect, nearly all are from low income, socio-economic backgrounds and have low self-esteem. In addition to this, our school funding has been reduced by the legislature because our location is so remote. I want to improve our classroom so that our students feel valued and important. As a result, I am hoping to help them realize their potential to make a difference in this world!

About my class
