It is important for young children to relate what they are learning to what they see in their everyday life. Community helpers is an important theme in our learning environment and the LEGO set will provide hands-on imaginative play to show their understanding and re-create what they experience in their communities. The art station allows students to use their imagination and create artwork that is all their own. If they can think it, they can make it. There is nothing cookie cutter about their creations and art supplies allow students to make creations on their own or with their classmates. This is art to take home or share with our school and art they are so proud of.
