Flexible seating is one way to allow students to feel safe enough to take chances in their learning while motivating them at the same time. Some of my students have ADHD and other learning differences which hinder their ability to sit and focus. These wobble cushions are discreet enough where they don't draw any unwanted attention but allow my students to stay engaged. With flexible seating, I know that these students will be able to produce work to their potential. "Simple in-class activities can boost performance. Studies suggest that children who participate in short bouts of physical activity within the classroom have more on-task behavior, with the best improvement seen in students who are least on-task initially." -Edutopia.org
