There are approx. 390 students, Pre K - 4th grade. 99% qualify for free/reduced lunch. 29% are ELL and 43% have limited English proficiency. 50% are Hispanic, 37% are African-American, 13% White. Our school has an extended day that includes 40 minutes of reading/math intervention. All teachers are dedicated to bringing the students to grade-level and beyond. Some students have a very difficult homelife and move to other schools often. Our staff maintains a positive, caring, and stable environment for our students.

About my class
