My students come from the mountains of Tennessee. Our school is Internet connected, but no cell phone service is available in our mountains, which makes research here very exciting. No student here has an iPad and have only heard of its wonders. Eighty-five percent of the students of our school eat free or reduced lunch, but our school received reward status in 2011-2012 and our English Language scores were even higher last year with 72 percent scoring proficient or advanced. The parents and community are very involved with our school and support the school with encouragement and attendance in all our school programs. Our students love to research, write, and perform.
