Our school is in a rural community in Oregon. Our particular classroom is a blended classroom with both 2nd and 3rd grade students. Our unique classroom dynamic offers many diverse learning opportunities, but we also face a lot of challenges having to learn two separate sets of curricula and different grade level specific skills. My students are eager learners and enjoy hands on activities. Because of the nature of our rural community, they are accustomed to limited technology use in their homes and at school.
