I teach urban city children, most of whom are from an extremely low socioeconomical status. Many of my students have high goals for their futures aspiring to one day enter the medical, legal, or corporate career fields. While their aspirations are high attending an inner city school puts many limitations on available resources to use in the classroom. My philosophy is that every child deserves an education and the opportunity to achieve their future goals. This is what I strive to make happen everyday in my room.
