If fully funded, I expect to get the majority of the students on or above grade level this year. We know from the data that closing those learning gaps by the end of third grade is crucial. If students can't read, they have a hard time achieving in all content areas. I want to make reading fun and interesting with these print sources! I am new to this school but I have studied the student performance data... it looks like we may have a lot of gap to make up and getting print sources, such as Scholastic News, into the hands of children and their families will be key to our success.
